We recommend a termite inspection should be performed at least every 12 months and more often in a high risk area or a property attacked by termites.
What is integrated pest management (IPM)?
It is an effective and environmental approach to pest management and relies on a common sense approach. Some examples include storing food in closed containers to prevent stored product pests such as rats, mice, cockroaches and moths access to food.
Mosquito’s have been controlled by the introduction of fish into waterways to control the larva of the insect. A good pest control operator is able to provide these solutions.
Insect growth regulators [IGR] can be used that are less toxic than salt to kill termite nests. IGR can also be used with cockroach control together with IPM principles.
